Founder and CEO, Craig Lavrick was genuinely concerned (and at a loss) as to why coiled tubing drilling was being overlooked by the mineral exploration industry, particularly in Australia.

He founded DIG CT Pty Ltd, now DIG CT Inc. and based in the US, based on his passion and sincere belief in coiled tubing drilling being the optimal drilling method for enhanced innovation, safety, inclusivity and productivity within mineral exploration.

DIG CT is the first company globally to commercialise coiled tubing drilling technology within the mineral exploration industry.

Craig is proud coiled tubing drilling’s success at all DIG CT operations, and after various traditional style drilling methods were applied, and failed in the same challenging ground conditions.

CT drilling applied to mineral exploration, and for orebody knowledge is a generational shift change. The technology indicates a very bright future, yet only if industry apply and use the technology! Sadly, Australia has been very slow to adopt. In late-2025, DIG CT Pty Ltd ceased its Australian-based drilling services operations due to a lack of industry support. DIG CT Inc. is located in the US and focuses on providing collaborative expertise and consultancy services to companies pursuing the technology.
