Opposite is an image of Jo seated at the CT500 rig in northern South Australia shared across DIG CT’s social media on International Women’s Day (March 8, 2025).
The post was intended to inspire those thinking of entering the industry, as well as those already immersed in mineral exploration drilling. Notably, the CT500 rig requires less physical effort and manual handling to operate safely. It is a safe, accessible, reduced environmental footprint workplace which attracts and aligns with today’s modern worker, future drillers and drill assistants.
