While working with Barrick – the world’s largest gold miner, Craig championed a dramatic shift in global practice and process, realising zero reportable incidents and increased efficiency at all operations.

Notably, the Chilean Alturas project successfully drilled more metres in one season than the previous three seasons with the same team and equipment!

Solutions included:

• adopting real-time data platforms
• standardising procedures across global drilling, equipment and data collection
• advancing new drilling, equipment and fluid technologies
• initiating a Global Drilling Service Map from strategy to execution – identifying and realising global cost reduction and increased productivity for significant sustained improvement across production, safety and compliance.
